CI flexo

Diamond

The Diamond is Uteco's top of the line flexographic CI press.  It was designed to fulfill the demands of customers for a fast change high productivity press with a top speed of 600 mpm / 1912fpm.

The technologies and engineering concepts incorporated in the Diamond ensure that it is among the most modern presses currently available.

Main features of the Diamond include: flying job change capability; push off device for print sleeves, sleeve carriers and anilox sleeves; ultra high modulus carbon fiber mandrels and sleeve carriers, AC vector brushless motors, brushless motors for automatic positioning of the printing unit (assists with automatic deck pressure settings and increased pressure settings through speed ramp up), shafted or shaftless winders, fully integrated Sprintwash system, and a newly designed interactive supervisory system.

The Diamond can also be equipped with alternative drying systems as well as with heat curable energy systems such as UV lamps or an EB group after the last print deck.

Press electronics are located inside an air-conditioned container positioned on a mezzanine, a standard supply feature for all Uteco flexographic gearless presses.

Emerald

The Emerald was the first of Uteco's modern presses designed specifically to facilitate fast changeovers.
One of the technological innovations that has made the Emerald so succesful is the patented "prismatic" deck guiding system consisting of both upper and lower decks guides, a significant improvement over the single guide systems of earlier presses. This technology allows the Emerald to print high quality process jobs at higher speeds due to improved deck stability.
The Emerald was introduced in 2000 and since its introduction hundreds have been placed globally.

Onyx

Over the last decade the increasing acceptance of and demand for gearless technology has made gearless printing the industry standard.
The Onyx was developed to offer Uteco's base of small and medium sized converters gearless technology equipped with Uteco's "true direct drive" technology and quick sleeve change system at a very attractive price to performance ratio.

The electrical system of the Onyx is supplied standard in an air-conditioned container located above the press on a mezzanine.

Coral

Uteco's "Coral" is the only UTECO CI flexo printing press available with gears.  It is available in 4, 6 and 8 colors.
The Coral is  a very simple press incorporating Uteco's modular concept at an affordable price  while including several accessories aimed at automating this cost efficient press.
The Coral is suitable for printing on both film and paper and is a ideal solution as an "entry level" press for those interested in beginning in flexo printing with a moderate initial investment.

Topaz

This press features a modular concept design and it can be supplied even in a "tailor made" configuration but maintaining the characteristics of a standard machine.

Topaz GL is a gearless flexographic printing press featuring on-press sleeve change for both the anilox and the plate cylinders. The sleeve change is easy and very quick and the automatic positioning of the printing unit is granted by the latest generation of cnc controlled stepping motors.

The ventilation on the upper bridge is very silent thanks to a sound-proof cabin which contains the supply and exhaust fans.

Topaz GL can be supplied in three different models:

- Topaz GL 608: the compact 6C-CI version
- Topaz GL 613: the 6C-CI with important maximum print repeat
- Topaz GL 808: the compact 8C-CI version.

About Us Advanced Machinery was founded in 1989 by Wim Buyle. Initially, the company undertook the installation of web-guiding systems, as well as the overhaul and maintenance of such systems – and this on a free-lance basis. Subsequently, the activities were expanded into the design, construction and maintenance of other equipments and accessories used in the converting industry: web tension controls, expansion shafts, spreader rollers, longitudinal cutting systems, etc.
