Bandera manufactures complete extrusion lines for single and multi layer foil, mainly intended for food packaging and for the production of high-thick sheet for industrial thermoforming
Innovative know-how and technologies applied to cutting edge thermoplastics processing in the following applications:
- 120micron ÷ 2mm thickness windable foil from HIPS, PP, CRPS, A/CPET, and PETG (compact or foamed), PLA, for rigid thermoformed food packaging applications (in-line or external thermoforming)
- Thin PP and PET sheet (embossed, as a standard) intended for paper and cardboard industry
- Mid-thick sheet from PS and ABS/ABS-PMMA intended for household appliances
- Mixed material sheet (thermoplastic rubbers and non-homogeneous industrial waste as well) for vehicle components and deep draw thermoforming
- Technical sheet from HDPE, PP, HMWPE, PC mixed with ABS
- Flexible sheet intended for waterproofing applications (multilayer PP/PE geomembranes) with internal fibre reinforcement and outer nonwoven fabrics, which are in-calander coupled
- High transparency and optical quality sheet from PET, PC, and PMMA
- High opalescent sheet from PMMA/ABS intended for panels and movable edges (thin and windable)
Bandera is world leader in extrusion technology intended for high rate outputs (up to and over 2,500kg/h), thickness and width range (0.12 – 2mm up to and over 2,400mm width) for the production of PET foil. Bandera extrusion lines do not require any material pre-treatment as they are based on a patented composite extrusion system (co-rotating twin-screw extruder with enhanced multiple high vacuum venting system).
Furthermore, Bandera innovatively developed in the following processes:
- Bulk dosing systems for master batches and mineral fillers for composite sheet by co-rotating twin-screw and/or cascade extruders combined with innovative and precise raw material gravimetric loss-in-weight dosing units
- Fully automated multi-reel winding systems for high-speed foil extrusion lines
- Melt super filtration systems
Line control is via computerised supervisory systems aimed at in-line final product quality control.
