Geomembrane

Undoubtedly the most special product in blown tubular film range, geomembrane outstands for its extraordinary characteristics.

Geomembrane most common applications are: landfill waterproofing, tunnels, collection tanks, water basins, irrigation channels, extraction mines, motorways, strengthening works at river and marine water flows, dam protections, etc.

Bandera offers blown tubular film lines for the production of geomembranes featuring 6 to 8m useful width and thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 3mm.

Upon request, a fabric-coated surface can be obtained to create high-friction areas aimed at preventing geomembrane from sliding on slopes.

The vertical blown film undergoes a slight double-orientation (cross and longitudinal), capable of increasing its mechanical characteristics.

Standard line configuration features a large-capacity extruder for the inner layer and two smaller extruders for the outer layers.

The head is always equipped with IBC with oversized blowers enhancing cooling capacity. Take-off units and winders are fully automated and large sized.

The extrusion head is of the three-layer type, with spiral-channel 2300mm die optimized by special software and obtained from cutting edge CAD/CAM machines.

The cooling ring is highly efficient and features extreme cooling balance.

The extrusion line is complete with: entry nip rolls, independently power-driven wood/steel flattening boards and gusseting units with variable-geometry tips.

Fully automated winder, with automatic steel shaft extraction from the finished reel.

Line control is via cutting edge user interface, with LCD touch screen monitor.

About Us Advanced Machinery was founded in 1989 by Wim Buyle. Initially, the company undertook the installation of web-guiding systems, as well as the overhaul and maintenance of such systems – and this on a free-lance basis. Subsequently, the activities were expanded into the design, construction and maintenance of other equipments and accessories used in the converting industry: web tension controls, expansion shafts, spreader rollers, longitudinal cutting systems, etc.
